There's not much that feels better for your skin than exfoliation. While there are many different ways to exfoliate your skin, sugar scrubs are one of my favorites. While there aren't many nutritional benefits of ingesting sugar, luckily there are a number of benefits of using sugar on your skin. A sugar scrub is an exfoliating skin product made with sugar, carrier oil, and essential oils. While you can purchase scrubs from a beauty supply store they are full of ingredients that many of us can’t pronounce must less know what those ingredients are. It’s always a plus to know the ingredients you’re putting on your skin and have the choice to add what you feel comfortable using.

There are no harmful fragrances, perfumes, or dyes that can stain your tub or skin. No flower petals, leaves, or herbs that can stop up your sink or bath drains. Makes a great gift for those that like to pamper themselves as I do! Made to order so product comes to you fresh as possible. Sugar scrubs come in 4 oz and 8 oz resealable zip lock kraft bags.

Sugar scrubs are customizable: Prefer another carrier oil such as jojoba, avocado, sweet almond, grapeseed? or essential oil? white sugar instead of brown? If you would like to add or leave out an ingredient, just add to the special instructions box.

Rose Patchouli Brown Sugar Scrub

$5.00Price
  • Brown sugar is gentler than white sugar, therefore, making it the ideal scrub for face and neck. Brown sugar is a natural humectant, it serves as a natural moisturizer which keeps the skin soft and at the same time hydrated. Brown sugar also has anti-bacterial properties and glycolic acid that may keep your skin radiant and healthy. Note: Brown sugar has a scent all on its own, but compliments all the other scents nicely.

Rose Absolute: Highly prized for its rich floral scent, it may also be useful in skin rejuvenation, as Rose oil counteracts the visible signs of aging, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, and helping smooth skin.

Patchouli Essential Oil: With its deep musky earthy scent patchouli grounds the sweet floral scent of the rose. Patchouli has amazing skin care qualities that may help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It may help to nourish dry, cracked skin as well as balance oily skin.

Frankincense Essential Oil: Frankincense benefits include the ability to strengthen skin and improve its tone, elasticity, defense mechanisms against bacteria or blemishes, and appearance as someone ages. It may help tone and lift skin, reducing the appearance of scars and acne, and treat wounds.

Vanilla Infused Coconut Oil: Fractionated Coconut Oil is a powerful moisturizer that will leave your skin looking soft and smooth without clogging pores and leaving skin feeling oily. Coconut oil is infused with organic Madagascar vanilla beans (with can also be purchased in my store). Vanilla is rich in antioxidants, which neutralizes free radicals and reverses the skin damage caused by them. It may help to slow down signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles and age spots. It not only leaves your skin feeling rejuvenated, but also smelling lovely.

Vitamin E Oil: As an antioxidant, vitamin E combats free-radical damage, but unlike most other antioxidants, vitamin E is also a very hydrating molecule since it works as a both a humectant (to absorb water into the skin) and an emollient (to trap water in the skin). Vitamin E as an antioxidant can also helps improve shelf life and prevent oils from going rancid.
